The Amir of Kuwait, Emir Sabah IV Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Foreign Affairs Dr Tonio Borg in Kuwait City. Malta will open an Embassy in Kuwait City on 1st September 2012 following the granting to Malta by the Kuwaiti Government of special and very favourable terms and conditions.
An Economic Co-Operation Agreement will be also signed between Malta and Kuwait.
