 Spain ‘s annual International Tourism Trade Fair - FITUR - opened officially by the Queen on 19th January, shows signs that Spain, the world s fourth tourist destination, appears to be coming out of the crisis which hit the sector in 2009 although Spain’ s Tourism Minister Miguel Sebastian calls for caution and the necessity to diversify its tourism product . Ambassador Tanya Vella, who attended the official opening was also greeted officially at the Malta stand by Mr Simon Kamsky MTA Director for Southern Europe and Mr Joseph Galea MTA Director of International Marketing. “Malta - Mediterranean ‘s best kept secret” was the theme of the Malta stand.
