 On Saturday, the 25th of September 2010, The Embassy of Malta and the Permanent Representation of Malta to the EU participated in the Premier Goûter Europeen A Uccle (First European Taste) organised by the City Hall of the District of Uccle in Brussels and the Business Community of Uccle. This participation was possible with the support of Air Malta and members of the Maltese Community in Brussels.
 This event was inaugurated by State Minister Armand De Decker, President of the Belgian Senate and Mayor of Uccle. Visitors were treated to traditional food from all over Europe. On the Maltese stand, visitors tasted the traditional ross il-form, imqarrun il-forn, and qubbajt from Malta. Visitors also helped themselves to tourism information on Malta. This event was also an excellent Malta promotion opportunity because the well known Belgian radio ‘Nostalgie’ transmitted live from the venue.
The Malta stand proved to be one of the more popular stands with a continuous stream of visitors crowding for information, the small Maltese team made from very helpful members of the Maltese community.
