 The St Helena Maltese – Australian Social Club Inc have celebrated the Feast of St Helena in Melbourne on the weekend of the 26th to the 28th of August 2011. Church Services were held at the Croatian Church in Ardeer while a dinner dance has been held at the La Mirage hall on the Hume Highway. A floor show was held by the Katoomba dance group who came purposely from Sydney.
On Sunday 28th, following a High Mass at the Croatian Church a procession with the Statue of St Helena was held on the ground of the same church. This was followed by a concert of Maltese marches in the Hall of the Croatian Church. A large crowd participated in the festivities. The Mass was con-celebrated by Fr Victor Shield, Fr Dennis Carabott and led by Fr Edwin Agius, all from the Missionary Society of St Paul. There was a group of children dressed in the colours of Birkirkara (yellow and red) who participated in the procession. The Maltese Consul General, Charles Mifsud, participated in the dinner dance and the Sunday festivities.

Il-Ħadd 28 ta Awwissu 2011, wara quddiesa fil-Knisja Croatian saret il-purcissjoni bl-istatwa ta Santa Helena madwar il-Knisja. Il-quddiesa kienaat kpnċeebrata minn Fr Victor Shield, Fr Denis Carabott u prim ċelebrant kien Fr Edwin Agius, kollha mis-Soċjeta Missjunarja ta’ San Pawl. Matul il-puċissjoni, ħadu sehem għadd ta’ tfal liebsin il-kuluri ta’ Birkirkara – dawk sfr u ħomor.
