In a half hour interview on Radio Manises Valencia on 9th July dedicated to tourism in Malta, Ambassador Tanya Vella highlighted the major attractions Malta and Gozo have to offer to tourists from Valencia. She outlined its World Heritage sites , the possibilities of combining English language tuition with a celebration of a Mediterranean way of life, enjoying Maltese gastronomy , practicing underwater and other sports and a vibrant night life of village feasts and fireworks displays similar to the famous Valencia Fallas . “Malta is not only a place to party. Although we enjoy doing that too, Malta also offers a rich international cultural scene, a protected cultural heritage experience and a range of excellent accomodations catering to all tastes. Several Spanish visitors seek out Malta as an ideal language destination to learn English, but Malta is also receiving several business tourist queries from Spaniards who are keen to learn more about Malta’s attractive investment environment. ” Ambassador Vella also extended the sympathy of the Maltese people to the people of Valencia following the recent tragic forest fires that ravaged Valencia .
