Malta's historical links with France, one of our main European partners date very far back, at least to the early Middle Ages when Count Roger the Norman gave Malta its flag. The role of the Maltese Embassy in France is to ensure the continuous development of intense exchange between the two countries on the political, economic and social levels. It is our aim to bring the two countries ever closer, also through our best ambassadors, the great number of French citizens of Maltese origin.
